It would be an injustice not to review these 3 books as one work. Special Forces packs so much into this relationship I don't even know where to begin. While some of it was hard to read, every hardship had an even greater reward. The core of the story is the bond between Vadim and Dan over 25 years, and I cannot stop thinking about it. Wish I could do this amazing story justice in a review, because I know this book will stay with me for a long time but there are much more eloquent reviews out there including http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/437267526 .
