4.5 stars for the seriesI really enjoyed this series and came to love both Derrick and Gavin. Bear in mind that this is one story told through all three books and none of the storylines are completed until the third book.
Each book builds on the growing relationship between Gavin, who is just out of a bad relationship, and Derrick, who has spent the past 10 years alone and celibate. Both men have a lot baggage that will directly impact their relationship. This is a character driven book that seemingly starts as a light romance, with Gavin sabotaging his appliances so he can call back handyman Derrick to his apartment, but then becomes an emotional, multi-layered story as they get together and have to work through their issues and fears to continue moving forward.
