Papa's Boy - Sue Brown This third book in the series finally gets to the underlying trigger of Pastor Jackson's crusade against the Lost Cow ranch. There is more heartbreak and angst in this book than the first three, but it is still a story of love, acceptance and family.

The relationship between Noah's assistant Ray and Zeke is a minefield that has the potential to affect everyone around them, but Ray is determined to make Zeke a part of their community. Zeke has issues that would bring anyone to their knees, and watching him conquer them with the help of Ray and those on the ranch was very satisfying.

Pap's Boy starts right after Complete Faith ends and nicely continues the stories of the couples and characters from the previous two books. Sue Brown nicely handles the issues without becoming overly religious or preachy. One of the better installments in the series.
