This is the first Amy Lane book I have read and I really did not expect this to be the gut-wrenching emotional story that it was. It sucked me in and kept me reading late into the night. Chase is so lost and broken, outwardly living a perfect life, but really barely hanging on. In comes Tommy and forces Chase to face the demons he's been locking up inside for the past 14 years and tear down the wall of lies he's been hiding behind. Nothing is easy in their relationship but the love and passion they share is beautiful.
The supporting characters were good as well and I am looking forward to reading Dex's book after this.
